In April 2021 I had cervical spine neurosurgery carried out by Mr Hussain. The treatment I received could not have been better. Although being risky surgery, everything went very well and as far as I am concerned,a complete success. I am extremely grateful to Mr Hussain for his excellent care and attention and changed my life. The follow up was also all I expected. I would definitely recommend this first class surgeon.

After the misfortune of injuring myself, I had the great fortune of being a patient to this fine gentleman. To relate each occasion I have for giving him praise would take a long time; it suffices to say, 2 days after my surgery, I am absolutely delighted with his great help from the moment I met him until the moment he sewed me back up. At every step I was fully aware if what was happening, even amongst the days of the height of the Covid-19 crisis. If you are reading this review in order to gain a window into his record or professionalism, I tell you, you have just won the surgeon lottery.

I was referred to Mr Hussain who saw me within a few days and thoroughly assessed my problems with intermittent severe pain in lower back and legs, heavy and numb right leg and drop foot, weakness and decreased mobility to the extent that I could only walk a short distance with two sticks and otherwise needed to use an electric wheelchair. Mr Hussain was sympathetic and took time to explain, show me xrays, and discuss the urgency of operating on my lower spine. Two days later Mr Hussain operated on me, and came to visit me in the ward the following day. Since coming home 6 weeks ago, I have been able to carefully follow hygiene and physiotherapy regimes in order to support the best outcome of the operation, and I am delighted with the outcomes so far. The operation site has healed really well and looks really good. My pain has reduced greatly and I am increasingly regaining mobility - already I am able to walk around the garden with only a little pain and without footdrop! I am really optimistic for the future. I do have other complex health issues that affect my balance and mobility, but I am really optimistic for the future. Mr Hussain has already changed my life with his amazing skills, and I still have a little way to go in my recovery. Thank you Mr Hussain, and I wish you well for the future.
